Our Purpose
As a joint venture between Mission Aviation Fellowship and Wycliffe Bible Translators, we exist to provide a peaceful, safe, reflective environment primarily for the use of the Missionary community.
By providing accommodation for missionaries, we play a vital role in caring for the missionary community in times when they require emergency and other medical treatment, families awaiting childbirth, needing respite or counseling due to a trauma suffered, school retreats and temporary accommodation when working or studying in the local area.
We are able to meet their needs for management conferences, training and staff induction seminars through our accommodation and conference facilities. Tree Tops Lodge Cairns also supports the wider Christian community by making our facilities available for spiritual retreats, pastor/minister respite and school group accommodation and seminars.
